Travel Grant Award

8 - 12 travel grants of € 1.000,00 (€ 500,00 for applicants from European countries) will be awarded by ISE
to attend the 25^th International Congress of the International Society for Ethnopharmacology (ISE) and 1^st Workshop on Nursing Ethnopharmacology in Foligno.

Early career investigators (undergraduate students, graduate students, post docs, assistant professors) who currently hold ISE membership (fee payment status will be checked) and would like to present their scientific results during the ISE 2026 congress are eligible to apply for a travel grant of ISE.

The travel grant money can be used only to cover travel and/or accommodation/ registration expenses.

INSTRUCTION FOR APPLICATION:

Applicants must submit the following documents for review:

• APPLICATION FORM (download here)
• Letter of recommendation from your supervisor/department head with a confirmation of your status.
• Curriculum vitae (1-2 pages)
• Estimation of travel and accommodation costs
• Abstract submission for an oral or poster presentation THROUGH THE ONLINE PROCEDURE

The travel grant money can be used only to cover travel and/or accommodation/ registration expenses.

Applications must be submitted before 1^st May 2026

 Please note:

• An Awards Committee set up by the Board of ISE will review the applications and select the awardees.
• Only complete applications will be considered for further review.
• Only one travel grant can be granted to the same working group/ same supervisor.
• Applicants who have received an ISE travel grant in previous years are not eligible.
• Awardees will be informed before the deadline for the early bird registration expires.
• The grants will be handed over at the congress in person.
